What Kids Yoga is really about

Children today carry more on their shoulders than any generation before — academic pressure, screens, fragmented attention, anxiety they don't yet have the words for. Yoga gives them tools that no school subject does: how to calm down, how to focus, how to listen to their own body. Our kids batches are joyful, story-based, and serious about teaching real yoga — not a watered-down version.

Who this is for:

Children aged 6 to 14. Particularly recommended for kids dealing with anxiety, attention difficulties, screen-induced restlessness, postural issues from heavy bags, or simply parents who want to give their child a foundation that lasts a lifetime.

  • Animal postures (dog, cat, cobra, eagle) — taught through stories
  • Sun salutations adapted for young bodies
  • Balance postures — turned into games
  • Simple breathing techniques (bee breath, balloon breath)
  • Short guided relaxation at the end of every class
  • Basic anatomy in age-appropriate language
  • Mindfulness — without ever calling it that

Common questions

My child has never done yoga. Is that OK?
Most of our kids start with zero experience. The format is built for that.
Is the batch safe in terms of supervision?
Always. Small groups, single qualified teacher, parents welcome to observe initially if it helps the child settle.
Will my child sit still for an hour?
The class is designed knowing they cannot. We use stories, games and short asana sets — never long static holds.
Can siblings join the same batch?
Yes, as long as both are within the 6-14 range. We'll find them complementary partner postures.
