Practice every day

Abhyaasa Prathidinam

Yoga is not what you do — it is what you become through daily doing.

Six days a week Short and sustainable For consistent practitioners Combines all elements
About this class

What Abhyaasa Prathidinam is really about

Abhyaasa Prathidinam — literally, 'practice every single day' — is the heart of Aikia's teaching philosophy. Yoga isn't an exercise you fit in three times a week. It's a daily relationship with your body and mind, the way brushing your teeth is. This program is for practitioners who have moved past the trial-stage and want to build the lifelong daily habit that turns yoga from something you do into something you are.

Why join

The benefits you'll feel

Real, observable changes — most of them within the first month.

Daily rhythm

Six sessions a week, short enough to be sustainable, long enough to be real.

Compounding effect

What three sessions a week takes a year to do, six sessions takes three months.

Complete practice

Asana, pranayama, meditation — all integrated. Not just postures.

Deeper transformation

Daily practice changes the body and mind in ways that occasional practice cannot reach.

Strong community

When you see the same people every morning, accountability becomes natural.

Better value

Per-session cost is the lowest of any of our programs.

Curriculum

What you'll learn

A structured curriculum, not a random sequence of postures. Every class builds on the last.

Who this is for:

Existing yoga students who have done at least 3-6 months of consistent group practice and are ready to commit to daily yoga as a foundational habit. Not designed for absolute beginners — start with our regular batches first.

  • A complete daily sequence — sun salutations, standing, seated, inverted, restorative
  • Pranayama integrated into every session
  • Short meditation built into the rhythm
  • How to listen to your body and modulate intensity day-to-day
  • Long-term progression — what to focus on month after month
  • How to maintain the practice when travelling or when life intervenes
  • The deeper philosophy of abhyaasa (practice) and vairagya (non-attachment)

In their words

From students of this class

"Joining the 5:30 am batch was the single best decision I made all year. Eighteen months in, I have not missed more than four days. My life has reorganised around it."
— Daily practitioner, age 36
"I came from a 'three times a week' yoga background. Six months of daily practice and the difference is not even comparable. This is what they meant by 'yoga'."
— Long-time student
FAQ

Common questions

Six days a week sounds like a lot. Is it really necessary?
Necessary — no. Transformative — yes. The whole point is the daily rhythm. Three times a week is a different (and lesser) experience.
What if I miss days?
Life happens. The format is forgiving. The practice is to come back to it without drama, not to be perfect.
Can I switch to this from a regular batch?
Yes — once you have enough foundation. We'll let you know honestly when you're ready.
Are travel days a problem?
We give you a 20-minute home practice you can do anywhere. Most students don't break their streak even when travelling.
