What Therapeutic Yoga is really about

Therapeutic yoga is not a softer version of regular yoga — it is a more precise version. Each posture is chosen for what it does to a specific system: the spine, the hormones, the digestion, the nervous system. Common questions

Will yoga replace my medication?
We never advise stopping medication. Therapeutic yoga is complementary — and very often, with a doctor's consent and as health improves, doses can be reduced over time.
Do you coordinate with my doctor?
Yes, gladly. We are happy to share the program with your physician and adjust based on their feedback.
How long until I see results?
It depends on the condition. Sleep and anxiety improvements are often felt within two weeks. Structural concerns (back, posture) take 6-12 weeks for meaningful change. Hormonal conditions take 3-6 months.
Is therapeutic yoga safe with osteoporosis / herniated discs / recent surgery?
Yes — but only with explicit teacher knowledge of the condition and corresponding modifications. Please share full medical history when you sign up.
